How will my poultry ship?
Poultry is shipped with the USPS using priority mall on the day of the hatch, using special ventilated boxes. The number of day old poultry per box will depend on the time of year and weather conditions.
When will my poultry arrive?
Hatch and shipping dates are on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Depending on your location it may take 1-2 days from the day of the hatch. Your order will arrive at your local post office and your post master will call you with the phone number you provided.
What’s our policy for death loss?
Myers Poultry guarantees a healthy arrival of your chicks. Please notify us within 48 hours of any loss or Shipping issues for appropriate credit/refund or re-shipment. Please count the number of poultry you received as we do add in some extras. Photos maybe requested to verify losses.
What’s the minimum to ship?

Will you call me when my poultry ships?
Myers poultry will not call you when your birds ship. When your poultry arrives at the post office the postmaster will call you to pick up your order.
What if I want my poultry to be delivered to a different post office?
If you want your birds to go to a specific post office please put the following in the shipping address field:
What is Straight Run?
Straight Run is a mix of males and females, no sexing of the poultry is performed.
Do you allow pickup?
We do not allow pickup for Web Orders. If you want to pick up your birds please call our office at 814-539-7026
Will the post office deliver the chicks to my home?
No. Your post office will call you on the phone number you entered when ordering. You are responsible for picking up your poultry when they arrive at the post office.
